"Paloma! I love you. Will you hug me?"
- Donal

Another day in the Gallery of Photography. Today began rainy, again, so we had the kids in the lightroom scanning and editing, and one by one we would bring them on the porch to shoot the artichokes. Round one was pretty terrible, and after some adjustments, they did really well on round two. This took up most of our time before lunch. The kids would all make an exposure, then Darragh and Aoife would work on photoshop with them while I ran to the darkroom and developed all the negatives. Then we would do it again. After lunch we took a trip to the Ivy Gardens.

(Still Life Images.)

(Preparing for another outing with Darragh at 2:07)

(Quick stop into the Valentine's Cathedral on the way.)

(Photographing statues in the Ivy Gardens.)

(Pretty.)

(So Darragh being a famous musician an all, instantly recognized Paloma Faith, on the left, a British artist that I didn't know of, but the kids freaked out when they saw her! They asked for hugs and pictures with her, and she was patient with them. I looked her music up later, and still didn't know it, but the kids were right when they said she kinda sounds like Amy Whinehouse.)

(Pathways.)

(Paloma Faith's keyboardist practicing in the park warranted a pinhole picture.)

(Loading film again.)

After work went home to another group dinner and then went out for Thirsty Thursdays, yes that's a day in Ireland too. We went to our second favorite pub, the Ivy House, and listened to a pathetic battle of the bands. But it was fun anyways. I turned in after that, although some of the girls kept going all night.

(Rainbow outside my bedroom window.)

(Mandy and I.)

(Kim makes the best faces.)

(Megan and her coworkers.)

(Hangman when we couldn't hear each other- we were sitting right next to the band.)
